UPDATE:
An employee at Geerts contacted us (Yes, I said they contacted us - stay with me it gets even better). There was some miscommunication as to what services were completed by their service tech so they adjusted the billed amount and then sent us a check refunding over half the amount we paid!

Finding a company that is this honorable is rare to say the least - we will be using them again if we are ever in need and we will be recommending them to anyone that needs their services.

Thank you for proving that great customer service and satisfaction is a top priority at Geerts Plumbing & Heating.

On a side note - we replaced the sewer line that was broke and all has been fine since.

We had an issue at our rental house and my husband and I were at the hospital in Rochester. The issue we explained to them entailed sewer coming up through the shower and water flowing into the basement anytime they ran water.  We called Geerts and they came the same day, which was great; however, they were unable to fix the issue.

They required payment at the time of service which was fine and they were willing to take a credit card over the phone once the work was completed since we did not think we would be back in time to give them a check. On our way back from Rochester we received a call from the Geerts employee stating that there was a broken sewer line and that was something they could not fix. Since we were almost back from Rochester we stopped at our rental to pay them. They were very friendly and called their office to get the total owed. When he told me it was $469.47, I was kind of shocked, but figured it was what it was so I paid them.

About an hour or so later our renter sent me a text with pictures of all the standing water in the basement. I told her that it was not fixed and that she could not run water, take showers, or flush the toilet. She said yes I know, I was here when the plumber came. I asked, "So why is there so much water in the basement?" She said, "The plumbers kept running water trying to figure out what was wrong." Needless to say I was not happy! We told them what happens when water is ran. So not only were they unable to fix it, they added to the issue by flooding the basement THEN charged us almost $500 for it, and left!
Very disappointing - not that they could not fix it but the mess they left and the amount they charged to make it.
